get the mod-chip installed, jack in the 120 GIG hard drive, find and
upload all the software, but it's SO worth it. Now I rent games from the
vid store for $4 and copy them to the hard drive. XBox Media
Center connects across my network to all my MP3's and vids so my
XBox is now my ho me entertainment center. Screw Windows XP Media Center Edition. This is way better. I've yet to find
a video format it won't play. I also installed MAME-X which
is an arcade emulator. I literally have 3000 arcade games. I'm talking
the real-deal ROM's ripped straight out of the arcade machines, not some
lame home system knock-off. All I do is hit the back button to put in
quarter. It's like being the richest kid in the arcade. I've got
everything from Paperboy to Gauntlet to Double Dragon to Mortal Kombat.
All total I've got $150 in for the X-box, $100 for the hard drive, and

 Yah you probably heard about XM Satellite radio, but
did you know that you can record directly from the satellite feed? With
a satellite receiver and the appropriate software and cabling you can
connect your satellite radio directly to your PC and record music or
programs for listening later. The coolest part about this process is
that the software used to record the XM feed will automatically save the
individual tracts or segments by Artist and Title. To be able to record XM directly you will need a receiver. The first receivers used to record XM radio to a PC were the XM PCR's which were discontinued shortly after the software that enabled you to record XM became available. I wonder why? But don't worry, if you cant find a PCR (Which were selling on EBAY for around $300 shortly after being discontinued.) you can use a XMD1000. (Pictured to the left).. These units normally retail for around $49 but you can occasionally find them slightly cheaper. Once you have the radio you will need to software and hardware necessary to connect the device to your computer. There are a few choices out there, but the best choice (and least expensive.) is to purchase what you need directly from TimeTrax at http://www.timetraxtech.com . Why is it that you can never find a boot Disk
when you need one? I'm not sure either. So to make life easy, I'm placing
these boot disks that I found on the web here. They are real simple to
use. Just download the executable, insert a Floppy in your drive and
double click the file. Presto!
